Calories in gum?

Why does my sugar free gum have calories? Do I still get those calories if I don't swallow it? So annoyed...

    Yah you should have around what, ...2 cal per gum ? :D
    If so move your left arm very quickly during 10 seconds, and I'm quite sure you'll burn that energy :laugh:
    Stick to the sugar-free ones if you love gums, don't worry, go ahead, gums won't interfere with the diet if they don't contain sugar :)

    I'm a Trident gum addict,chewing around 1 pack of 18 pieces a day (trying hard to quit) and I do log it. 90 calories and a whopping 18 carbs per 18 pack. I really need to quit, at 18 carbs I could be using that towards a better food

    I've noticed that in fact it's a vicious circle, the more you eat, the more you need em. The thing is they start the digestion process for nothing, though, the more you eat, and the more you are hungry hehe.

    I've been swiveling in my chair for 60 seconds every time I chew gum.

    If Lambertj tried this arm trick I think she'd have one massive bicep! :)

    LOL, my co-workers already think i'm nuts, not need to add fuel to the fire haha
