    Honestly,........
    To be honest,.......
    Truthfully,.....
If you really want to know the truth,.......
    I'm not gonna lie,.....

Whenever I hear stuff like this, I think, "No! Please don't start being honest, now! I can't handle the truth"

I put those people on my "never trust" list :ohwell:

"I don't know" when my child leaves the light on and I ask who was the last person in that room. Or when there are dishes on the table and a child is asked if they put their dishes away....

Haha ohhh goodness, I've never heard anyone use jelly in place of jealous, but now that I'm aware people do, I'm sure I'll hear it all over the place! That's horrible.

It seems to have popped up out of nowhere!! I hate it.

I also hate it when people start every single sentence with "So..." As in "So...I have to go to work today," or "So...my day sucked," "So...I clearly do not know how to start a sentence properly."

I absolutely cannot stand it when people add "just sayin'" to the end of whatever they're saying. It seems to have replaced "no offense." "No offense" irritates me enough as it is, but I prefer it about 3495734545389745 times over "just sayin'."

Oohhh, and Facebook inspired this one, since I just witnessed it in 2 different status updates: "This girl." As in "Guess who just got off work? This girl!" and "Guess who just had coffee? This girl!" Guess who doesn't give a ****? That's right, this girl.

My spouse was offended when I said, "FYI..."

Personally, I like the phrase "It is what it is"--- it seems apropos, at times to me.

My son has started saying "FAIL!" to any number of things, and that makes me crazy!

An older woman I knew couldn't stand when people would say they were nauseous, she always said they should say "nauseated."

Really/Seriously? - said in the b*tchy, snarky, snotty tone most commonly used by middle and high-school "mean girls".

I 100% agree with you on this one. My biggest pet peeve!

    ASAP

no faster way to get me to put off the request...

Same here, I had a boss that would email me and put ASAP at the end of it.
I emailed her back one time and said, "It is on the 'to do' list". She didn't like that for some reason.

    "OMG"
    "True That"
"It has been a minute" - meaning it has been a long time
"I heard that" - I always want to say "Yeah me too, because I'm the one that said it"
    Anything anti-second amendment
The gross misuse of the first amendment
Anything used in the relm of "Political Correctness" - I am NOT politically correct

I am sure there are more, i just cannot think of them at this point

Paradigm. Whenever someone uses it I immediately ask them to define it (as long as they're not higher up on the food chain then i am.) have yet to get a coherent definition - always more of a "well, I know it when I see it,"
