My girl and I are going to start measuring each other weekly to bi-weekly.

Where exactly should the male get measured?

Where exactly should the female get measured?

    Aside from the obvious...

I measure around bust, smallest part of waist, across hip bones/navel, largest part of booty, each upper thigh, each calf, and each upper arm.

I know up here in Canada, the Sears catalog has a section on how/where to measure too. I don't know if you have something similar in your neck of the woods. Just a thought...

    Thanks for the chuckle! ;)

When I was going to the weight managment center at the Medical University of South Carolina they measured:

Women and men- chest, waist (should be the biggest section some people measure too high), top of arm (bicep area) hips, thighs and wrist (I am not sure why the wrist my only change by 1/2 " when I lost 85lbs)

I'm sorry I think I need to further elaboratel my question.

I intend to measure the neck, waist and hips for both of us. My question is where exactly anatomically will I be measuring?

Honestly, pick a spot that you can easily remember, so you'll always be measuring the same spot. For waist, somewhere in the vicinity of the navel, and/or the smallest part of the waist (if that happens to be really high, as mine is, I measure both that and in line with my navel), and the widest part of your hips, approximately 5" below your navel. I don't measure my neck, so can't help you there. I also measure my bicep, in line with the top (the top of the bump, if you know what I mean) of the muscle.
