So, I'm admittedly kind of a cheesy person and I'm okay with that :bigsmile: But just for kicks, let me know if this has happened to you.

I am very visually stimulated by food and drinks that are cute, cool, unique, and pretty. You know how there are a TON of new reusable drinking bottles and cups in stores these days? Well every time I buy a new bottle or cup, I get super excited about drinking water and I will choose to drink plain water from my cute new cup than have an ice-cold soda (my weakness!) every time.

Is it just me, or does cute packaging make healthy food and drinks so much more fun? Happy Friday!

    It sure does! I have to have pretty or cute stuff! It's kinda silly, but I love it!

    :happy: I agree. The cute bottles are harder to clean if you drink anything other than water in them, therefore I always opt for water over something I know I'm going to have to clean up! LOL:drinker:

    I LURVE my Contigo water bottles - and mine are pink, so no one else in the house will steal them (or take them by mistake)... but now I see they have a a PURPLE one.. oooOOOOoooo... I don't NEED one, but I just want it, coz I love purple.

    So yes, you could say that shiny, colorful marketing works on me :D

    Oh absolutely! For me, if I see some type of food or drink apparatus that is pink, I buy it. I mean, I don't even think about it, before I know it, whatever it is has wound up in my hand and I'm walking to the register!

    Nope. Not just you. I love a beautiful water bottle, or a lovely glass. I like it when my fruit looks as good as it tastes,too. Presentation does matter.

    I think its in our nature to like these cute marketing tricks. Otherwise companies wouldn't be as successful as they are. I have resisted buying a new water cup....for now. I also find I enjoy drinking water more if I add a lemon wedge or orange slice.

    You are sooo not alone!! I just got a new berry pink camelbak water bottle & I LOVE it!! I feel so "cool" when I have my frosty water bottle plopped on my desk.
    Do you need a coke?? No, thank you, I have my water. ;)

    This thread makes me feel like a freak because I drink from a glass (actually it's plastic). The one I keep at work does have a very cute pic of Winnie the Pooh on it, though.
