Weighing more on your period? (Girl's topic!)

Hey ladies!

So I'm 3 days in to my cycle and decided to jump on the scales this morning (which apparently is not advisable!)

It read 62.6kgs which is the lightest I have ever been.

Are you meant to weigh more on your period? Because if so, I am really excited! :D

If it's the other way around then I'm going to be a little devastated hahahaa

    i actually weigh less towards the end - the week before all my systems slow down and i can't dig rest anything, my stomach is bloated and I'm sluggish... i feel great on day 3 :)

    My weight gain happens the few days leading up to it. By day #2 I'm back down again.

    I personally dont. It doesnt change the scale at all for me.

    You're not going crazy lol. Generally yes, women tend to weigh more on their periods because of bloating, and sometimes extra calories that some of us consume, and salt, (chocolate and sweets etc) hormones, etc. I find that a week before I get on my period I tend to eat a little more, then while on my period I tend to eat less though I do crave chocolate or some salty foods. The weight gain is usually just bloating.

    Generally yes, most women weigh more, i usually can weigh upto 5 kgs more during my AF but this is the first cycles in ages that I actually stayed the same mad lost weight! -1.3kgs in the 7 days!!

    Sadly, I usually weigh less on mine. I lose about 2 pounds every cycle, then afterwards it's back for me. Idk why!

    haha the same thing happened to me today too. I am on day 3 of mine and for some reason i did a weigh in today ( mondays are usually my weight in days) and i was 1 lbs less... I find for me i gain a few lbs about 1 week before as that is when my cravings start but by the time mine hits me usually the wed or thurs, i am at my normal weight and have no cravings. so by the time it's over i am 100% my natural weight. so it will be interesting to see what monday brings when i step on the scale?
