how to log strength training?

i started the NROL for core/abs last week. i must be burning calories , but i havent gotten around to looking for my sister's HRM yet so i dont know how many and the database doesnt have the excercises. does anyone have any idea how many cals you burn doing about 40 mins of strength training??

  • It depends on the tempo you keep. Your HR plays a big rols in that. I have burned significantly more calories when I jump rope or run in place for 30 second between sets than just lifting and resting between sets.

    well i do first some core work and 10 mins of warmup which is cardio (running , jumping jacks all that) then when i do the weights , i take about 1 min-2 min rest between exercises , and like 20 secs between each set so i dont know...i really need to find that HRM , but without it , does it mean i cant log the workouts? :/
