To skip the juicer and use the whole fruit to make smoothies, more fiber this way. We have a vitamix and I LOVE it!

I've been thinking about it for a while. Highly considering it.

My husband juices every day and sometime twice / day. He has been doing it for a couple of years or so. We have the Breville Fountain Elite Juicer. It is one of the best ones out there IMO. He abuses this thing and it runs like we bought it yesterday. Cleaning it is very easy and only takes a couple of minutes (As long as you wash it right away and dont let the fiber from fruits/veggies dry). If you are going to try juicing, you should do as much organic as possible.

We also have a Vitamix but he prefers the juicer for vegetables and fruits. With the vitamix some sort of liquid needs to be added (not much but some).
