If I eat around 1200 calories and then burn 300 at the gym, myfitnesspal warns me that my calories are too low and my metabolism is going to slow down. But I actually did eat the right amount of calories. Should I eat more than 1200 calories on days I work out? I'm not hungry but I could eat I guess lol

Yes. On MFP you need to eat the calories you exercise off. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/225765-how-mfp-works?hl=how+MFP+works&page=1#posts-2976434 might help you understand.0
