What are the chances of creating a chat room on MFP? Several of the Seniors & other members are in favor of it. It would really help to have someone to chat with when you get depressed for some reason: weight gain, not enough water, too fat, etc.

Appreciate any help MFP could provide.

    I like the idea. It would be a big plus when like you say we eat for no apparent reason we could come look to chat.

    I'm all for a Chat Room for seniors as we don't have quite the same issues as a twenty-something. A lot of over-eating is emotional eating so, any support we can get by talking through it, would only serve to enable us to attain our goals.

    Are you asking for a chat facility generally, or for seniors specifically? If you just want a place for seniors, start your own group. That said, I think a chat room facility for MFP might be cool.
