My Tredmill say's I burned about 160 calories but when i put into the site my speed and time I get about 93 calories burned. I assume the site is more accuate, because it know's my age height and weight. As the Tredmill does not. Is that right?

I never trust the site. It really depends on the treadmill and your intensity. If the treadmill allows you to put in your heart and weight AND has a HRM on the handles- I would use that. The treadmill knows more about your intensity than MFP.

When I had a HRM (I've since lost it.) It was typically on par w/ what the treadmill said if I entered the information necessary. MFP was ALWAYS off.

But then again I rarely eat back my exercise calories so it never really mattered what either said. I try to focus on a goal for amount of time I exercise and the intensity. As long as I stick to that and eating clean I've been seeing results.

Hope that helps answer your question.:flowerforyou:
  • My tred is very basic and doesn't even have the heart rate thing, like my old one did. So thats why I'm not sure if I can trust what my tred's calories says.
