Wow! A 24-day run is quite a feat! Don't be too hard on yourself...we all have days where we blow it:wink: Tomorrow you will be back on track!!!

Consider it a reward for the good days you were having. Don't let this one bad mistake bring you down. Tomorrow is another day!

It'll be fine...as long as you get right back on track tomorrow you're fine! I think letting yourself indulge once in awhile is a good thing. As an example, you're not going to eat only salad forever, right? When you get to your goal weight you're going to want to and probably will eat somethings like donuts once in awhile. You might as well do it sometimes while you're trying to lose weight! As long as you keep it reasonable and stay on track overall a couple of days of cheating here and there won't hurt you. There are some that would disagree with me, but I have cheat days/meals/snacks sometimes and it's now I stay motivated!

This is Awesome, I could use this kind of encouragement everyday. Thanks!
  • I've been on this weight loss journey for the past 18 months and I have lost about 56 pounds. I probably would be at my goal of about 90 pounds if I didn't have all of the gains sprinkled thoughout the losses. But, that is really ok with me. Because I know that when I do gain a pound or 3 during a week, I can get it off again too. Because of this slow and yet steady progress of loosing, I am confident that I will keep the weight off.

So, don't beat yourself up about overeating today. Just do what you know how to do tomorrow.

By the way, I went to a friends' for a murder mystery dinner party, and I overate bigtime. It's been a long time since I felt full and bloated ( I used to leave the table feeling that way almost nightly.) YUCK!! I hate this feeling. It's been a few hours since I put food in my mouth and I still feel stuffed. Thank God, tomorrow is a new day!!

You didn't go over for 24 days? Way to go. I think my highest run might be four or five days! You got a craving out of the way, and now you're ready to get back to business.
