Steak for cheap?

Why is all the better steak (top sirloion, ribeye) so expensive? At my local shoprite 3 pieces of about 8oz are like 26 bucks! WTH!

    Right there is your answer. They're the prime cuts, so they're going to be more expensive.

    got a crock pot? you can buy beef roasts a lot cheaper and the roast is awesome in a crockpot...lots of good protein
