I went to tesco yesterday and found Dr Oertker egg white substitute in the baking aisle. I thought I would buy it and give it a go because my mum is KILLING me for wasting yolks all of the time! Lol
So....today I was making chicken fried rice (with quorn) and I wanted to whack some egg in. So! Each sachet mixed with 50ml of warm water is the same as 2 egg whites. I used 2 sachets, and added in one real egg for good measure......and it worked GREAT!
So! If anyone needs egg sub - then go and buy that. It was £1.49 for a box containing 6 sachets....so that's 12 egg whites!!
Wooop! X
