Need some advice

So...since I've started dieting, I have been really constipated, like going only once a week, it's really started to make me feel icky! I take vit c, magnesium, fish and flax oils every day, and still no luck. I was eating fiber 1 bars and no luck. I even tried a gentle laxative and no luck.

What else can I do? I eat plenty of fruits and veggies, so the fiber is in my diet. This could also be a side effect of a medication I started taking at the same time I started dieting. But either way, I cant stop the meds and I need to be able to go to the bathroom. Any advice?

  • Oh, and a lot of hot lemon water in the evenings...still no luck!
  • How much water are you drinking?
  • For about a week now, I've made it a point to drink around 100 oz a day. Before that, I was hugely lacking, drinking more like 24 oz a day but I was also drinking about 30+ oz of plain unsweetened green tea.
