Getting out of your (obesity/overweight) comfort zone...or a

Slow and steady does indeed win the race...BUT
I'm wearing a pair of jogging pants that are starting to swim on me. I have a closet filled with FAT clothes, that I've never wore--because they didn't look good on me then and many are too big now. I'm thinking about selling ALL of my XXL and XL clothes as a motivation and a even more firm commitment to my new lifestyle change and to further cement my no looking back, no more excuses, no more room for Obesity and it's comforts and ways.
Is this extreme? Yes it is, but I know with everything within me that I will NEVER ever be 198 nor anywhere near that size ever again-- and further that I will accomplish my goal and sustain it for the rest of my life, period. I'm not scared, leery nor even entertaining the thought of regaining ANY of the weight back as I lose it--period! So again, I'm going to sell ALL of my FAT clothes starting next week (meaning starting tomorrow). I'll keep only what I need as a shed this weight, just a few pieces.
What are you doing dramatic (if anything), to forever (this isn't some temporary phase either), this is serious LIFELONG business. What are you doing to permanently get out of your comfort zone in your battle of the BULGE?!? This doesn't have to be food related either.
Some people don't think dramatic is healthy, that's fine (PLEASE DO NOT REPLY--MOVE ALONG, NOTHING FOR YOU TO SEE OR HEAR HERE)--but if you're NOT one of them OR if you have some constructive advice for me or others in regards to this matter, again what are you doing/going to do to permanently GET OUT of your obesity/overweight comfort zone?

I love your self belief! I've been obese since I was a kid. I'm finally doing something about it now and am somewhat pleased with my progress so far, but I'm terrified that if I do manage to lose the weight I'll just end up putting it all back on again. I hope sometime in the future I will have the belief to get rid of my clothes. At the moment all my clothes are falling off me but I'm afraid to buy smaller ones...0

I donated mine to Value village and took it off my taxes.0

Girlfriend, you are ROCKING this thing-- 22 pounds FOREVER gone is so awesome and i'm so Proud of you.
Yesterday is GONE...nothing you can do about the past but forgive and FORGET and keep it movin and groovin. Ya know one thing this terrific journey is teaching me...the things I've been so afraid of, bitter about, and just plain in the twilight zone has been a big ole "boogie man". Once I said YES to what I'm saying YES to and NO! H#LL NAW, to what I'm saying NO to...POOF--it's gone, FOREVER.
I just got done dancing for more than an hour with my family--and it felt so good to feel my FAT crying (sweating--that ,my new mantraand having so much fun too. If I can do it, honey ANYBODY can.
I'm pulling for ya! Think positive and kick negativity and B.S. to curb, like it no longer has a place in your heart, mind and body and BAM...watch that fear and dread run from you like you're the boss--and you are girlfriend!0 -

WOW! Your weight-loss is tremendous and I'm so proud of you!!! You go girl--just think of the extra exercise in sorting, folding and bagging those things up and getting them out and making room for other things or just enjoying the new extra space those old fat clothes are taking up. You ROCK--period!0 -
I gave mine away to people who are larger than me. It feels good to get rid of all the old clothes. I kept one pair of pants I wore all the time at my biggest. That is it. Good job!0

Giving away or selling your clothes is an awesome idea. I've already purged my closet of everything that is too big.
One thing you didn't mention, and my main reason for doing so, is that when my clothes get too tight, that's my signal that it's time to re-focus. Having a larger size readily available for me to slip on instead makes it far too easy to fall back into old ways.0 -
Love it! I donated all my XL and XXL's as soon as they were to big that way I couldn't go back!! I'm never buying that size again! WTG!!0
