Hi everyone. I'm having trouble keeping the sugar limit low on MFP. I mean, the other day i had tbspoon of honey and it took me over! any suggestions?

  • I say remove the sugar column from your food diary! If you're anything like me the sugar limit was 24 - that was almost impossible for me.

Bear in mind the recommended daily amount of sugar for an adult is 90 (I think!) so the difference is huge - a couple over is not going to hurt too much!

Have your honey and enjoy

I was finding I was always way over - I have now stopped having sugar in coffee - drinking it black no sugar - and drinking a lot of green tea. I have tried to use low sugar breakfast cerals; and be careful with tomatoes, and fruit, which I find have a lot of sugar. This is an ongoing issue for a lot of people, if ou search the threads the posts will come up. Seems most people don't worry too much about natural sugars that come along in fresh food like fruits etc.

Even being careful, I am nearly always over
