I use Zumba 2 for the wii which is fantastic. It tracks your progress ( weight and calories burned). I haven't tried the one you have but working out with the wii is so much fun.0

Not used the one you've mentioned but up until 3 weeks ago, I used Wii Fit, EA Sports Active and My Fitness Coach for all my workouts. Have on joined a gym and on the weekends have been using The Biggest Loser on the Wii - one word brutal.
With good eating and exercising every day, it works.0 -
I also use the wii for my exercise. I have zumba (the first one), and I keep track of my calories burned with an HRM. You should really get one, they're amazing! Also my hubby has the UFC trainer on wii and sometimes I will do the workouts with him and those are nice too for building strength.0

I just got a HMR this weekend and I love it! I have the wii fit plus and it tells me how many calories I burn with my piggy bank. You have to earn the piggy bank I think? It's been 2 years since I've had it, so I don't remember the set up! I lost my first 50 pounds just using the Wii fit ( I like to gain and lose around 15 pounds).I looove love love, the boxing and the free steps!! I used to wear a sauna suit doing that, and I'd have sweat dripping all over!!!!! Have fun with it!!
*Edited to add* I also have Zumba and country dance! I love each but the country dance is much better IMO.*0 -
I use wii fit plus and EA Sports Active 2. Both games tell you the calories you have burned and both can really make you work up a sweat.0

if you have to be carefully due to re-constructive knee surgery then I am not sure if zumba is right for you. It is always still something you can try out. I never had knee re-constructive surgery so I do not know your limits or anything. You do get moving a lot. I have a bone cyst in my leg and when I was younger had gotten 3 surgeries (after that it has come back) and I notice when I do really high impact stuff my knee area starts to really hurt but I have not noticed it with zumba. (sometimes 30DS would hurt my knee from all of the jumping and what not.)0 -
I have the Wii Fit Plus but, I haven't really used it to exercise. It seemed that each activity you did only last a minute or two, so I felt as though I really wasn't getting much of a workout. What are you people doing with the Wii Fit Plus that I had missed? Except that I use the scale, it really is a dust collector in my house.0

I use the wii fit active. I always go for the 30 day challenge. I'll have to check out these other exercises mentioned. I like ours I do use a HRM and it differs from the wii, although having the one on the wii is better than nothing.0

I use Wii Fitness Plus, and just got EA Interactive 2 Personal trainer, but I've not tried it out yet. Hopefully I'll get to do that later today. I absolutely love LOVE LOVE my Wii fit plus0

Absolutely use it, when I can get the kids off of it.... :blushing:0 -
I have wii fit, ea active 2 and Jillian- I use my HRM0

I just used the wii fit and fit plus, it was the only exercise I got and I lost 40 pounds that way before finding MFP.0

I can't use Wii Fit plus anymore because my daughter gets on the balance board and messes me up (she's two it looks like fun to her) haha. But I do really enjoy it when I do get a chance to use it. The hula hooping for 10 minutes gives me a really good cardio and ab workout (sometimes I do it twice in a row). I also play Just Dance 3 and get a pretty good burn from that. My daughter loves to "dance" with me so its something I can do with a toddler. EA Sports active 1 and 2 are good ones too. I haven't tried any others, but would love to try the newest Zumba game.0

I use the Wii Fit Plus as a scale, and do all the little exercises to add up to at least 30 minutes. I do some balance games and aerobics. There's different games, some last only a minute or two, some can be 10+ minutes. I like the free step and the runs. The fact that it adds up my calories burned is a great bonus!
WIth the Wii, I also play the Just Dance series. It doesn't add up calories though. But I think it's great fun!!
I have the first Zumba game, but didn't play it much because it was too fast for me. I like the reviews of Zumba 2 so I'll save up for that. And a HRM.0 -
I use WII Fit Plus and EA Sports Active 2. The EA I just started using a few weeks ago and my left knee is sore all day every day. On Wii Fit Plus you can select Wii Fit Plus Routines and/or My Routines which allows you to use or make a fitness routine. I like those and do set up routines slecting which areas I want to focus on, I like to switch from one activity to the next, and it works for me.0

On Wii Fit Plus you can set up your own workout routines that will run consecutively so that you are not always stopping. At the end it will give you total calories burned and your time on the board.0

I love using Wii for exercise! So far I only have Your Shape, but I've ordered some others.0

I use Just Dance 2 for the Wii and I love it! It gets me up and moving, and its a lot of fun. I do it several times a week usually. I ordered EA Active for the Wii too, but I'm still waiting for it to come in (partially my fault, I forgot to change my address from my move on eBay!).0

Would love to get the Just Dance 3, but this game was cheaper.. THanks for all the feed back!!!0

I use Jillian Michaels Ultimate Fitness 2009. I love it! I just got the 2011 version, and I think the 2009 is much, much better. It does tell you approximately how many calories you have burned, and the exercises are fairly straight forward. I use the setting for two Wii controllers instead of the controller and numchuck (sp?) or the balance board. Seem to get a better workout because I can move freely.0
