    That's awesome!! I tried to follow a youtube vid to make chips in the microwave but they stuck to the plate because I didn't use oil. Doesn't look like you'd have that problem with this little device :D

    side note, that thing IS cool and i'm even gonna explore... BUT

    I make chips all the time in the microwave with no fancy contraption. I put parchment paper on the turntable in the microwave, cut the potatoes THIN (usually with my cuisinart), and then spray them with olive oil and salt. i put em in the microwave for a few minutes... but mostly just paying attention to once they start browning. then they're perfect!

    I just weight the raw potatoes and add that to my diary.

    I had some of these at a Pampered Chef Party this weekend and it's so funny that they have chips fried in oil and everything because these chips taste just like the commercial chips. Chip companies being unhealthy just to be unhealthy.
