...I just introduced Truvia into my diet on Saturday to my unsweetened tea, cereal, etc. Yesterday and today I have been so sick on my stomach its unreal. Has anyone else had this happen or is it just a coincidence? I haven't done anything else unusual, so that is why I was thinking maybe that was the cause of it.

I've never used Truvia. Instead of trying the name brand, I just bought pure liquid Stevia Extract from Whole Foods. I have not had any issue. I have only used it in my homemade version of Braggs Ginger Spice Apple Cider Vinager

I use truvia and love it but I have a friend that has the same issue with artificial sweeteners. Have you used any other artificial sweeteners in the past and have you noticed a similar issue?

I use it every morning with my coffee and have never had an issue. I swear by it, but of course, like anything else, its not for everyone!

I've never had any issues with it, but it sounds like you may have a food sensitivity. Wait a couple of weeks and then try it again to see if you get the same results.

I have used Splenda a few times in the past, but didn't notice anything then. Maybe its some reaction to Stevia that is causing it. I will wait it out for about 2 weeks and then try again. Until then I will stick with tea colored water. :)

My experience has been any sugar alcohols (which I think Truvia has) in excess will cause stomach cramps for me. I use Truvia on my grapefruit and in my oatmeal, but more than that and I'm hurtin'. If you are using a lot of it, maybe try cutting back to one or two packets a day and see if you can tolerate it.

Use it all the time. Never had a problem.
