I am over 60 and struggling to lose weight. I guess as you age your metabolism must slow up a bit. I am not as active as i used to be, but do some areobic exercise, walking, and erercise bike (or regular bike when the weather is good). Any other Oldies out there?

I am 59 and actually have been during fairly well on MFP. I try to stay under the calories they set for me and I walk for about 20 minutes a few times a week and ride my bicycle some.0

Sorry, but this thread is 9 years old and the OP has not logged in since 2016. I'd suggest that you post on the regular boards asking for help or join a group (there are groups if you do a search) or join a challenge. There are many people that will be happy to give you support.
Sometimes it takes awhile to find your groove and start losing. Get a digital food scale and weigh and measure everything you eat and drink. Get your daily calorie goal and try to stay within it everyday. Move a little more--even walking is good. Don't ever give up and you will find the solution for you. Good luck.1 -
Zombie thread!
The OP is now in their 70s, perhaps.0 -

Hi, @mo2go!
This is a good thread for people 60+:
https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10718336/60-yrs-and-up/p1
Don't worry if when you open it up there are old posts on the first page: Like other long-running threads here, the newer posts will be at the end (higher numbered pages). It's quite active, and there are plenty of nice people our age, at all different stages of the process. (I'm 65, lost from obese to healthy weight at 59-60 using MFP, have been maintaining a healthy weight since and still here to help that happen.)
Another option would be some of the threads or groups discussed in the Challenges part of the Community, or the Motivation & Support part. Direct links here:
https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/challenges
https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/motivation-and-support
I don't know of any specifically 60+ ones there, but the second link (Motivation and Support) has some 50+ options.
Hoping you can connect with some like minded folks, and find success!1
