Hi all
I've joined the site today and am hoping to lose weight and make some new friends. I was 46 last month and want to be fit and healthy by my 50th so I'm giving myself plenty of time. If past efforts are to go on it will take me that long. I'd be grateful for any new friends, help and advice as I start this journey.

Hi I am new to the message boards. I have used this Ap on my phone a few different times, but did not know about the boards. I used some message boards in 2002 on a specific diet and lost 42 pounds, and look forward to the support again. My goal is to loose 50-60 pounds and make some new friends along the way.0

I have been on five weeks and I am down 12 pounds. It is a very good site and has good information. I am feeling challenged lately. Trying hard to avoid the pasta/breads and adding lots of veggies. Any ideas/help for getting thru this challenge.0

my biggest challenge is when I'm home on the weekends, at work I'm so busy I have to make sure I eat, and then there is night time, the most difficult for me!0

Hello my dear lady, I too am a newcomer to the site and also to losing weight.
There are some excellent stories on here of past successes which do help to inspire.
Here's to us both succeeding, feel free to send a friend request across the "pond" to Dear Old Blighty.0 -

Welcome! All are welcome to be my friend. My thing is to keep eating goals tolerable and burn the calories by exercising a bit. Take care.0

Weekends seem to be the most challenging for me, also. My husband is off work, and finding the time to workout without taking time from him (he works graveyard so he sleeps all day and is gone all night) was making me feel guilty. I finally decided I had to do it whether or not he was home. I just had to find different ways to workout because there is no way I'm doing my workout videos in front of him

Hi
I can so relate to that. I have to get organised for work and have used this site this morning to check calorie value which has been good, and I have decided what to have for tonight meal, but after that I will have a problem snacking in the evening is my big downfall and having 3 skinnys in the house who can eat what they like (and do) destroys my willpower. Crisps are a particular problem for me. The weekends are the same as they all snack around me then I find that I do the same, then if we go anywhere they want to have a meal out and I give up and end up having something fatty even though I know what I should have.
