Hello everyone,

I need your help, I need a low fat or fat free tortilla that tastes better than cardboard, the fat in the low Carb kills my daily numbers so any suggestions would be great. Thanks for all your help.

I'm pretty sure that, though they advertise as low carb, La Tortilla Factory Smart and Delicious Low Carb High Fiber tortillas (both whole wheat and corn) are pretty low in fat as well.

I agree that La Tortilla Factory low carb/high fiber tortillas are good. I also like the La Banderita low carb whole wheat tortillas. Great for making breakfast burritos with scrambled egg whites & some veggies or for making wraps at lunch time.

Yes, La Tortilla Factory has large tortillas for 100 calories. And two small corn tortillas usually only have 100 calories.

I buy Dempsters Ancient Grain tortillas, the small ones. Fat comes from healthy fat and you get a bit of a protein boost with your carb intake. Low sugar and offers great per serving fiber. I find it to be an all around decent option for our family. They taste great too!

    nutrition info:

    Calories 100 Sodium 210 mg
    Total Fat 3 g Potassium 100 mg

  • I like the mission whole grain wrap. It has 210 cals and 6 grams of fat.

Don't sleep on corn tortillas! They aren't anywhere as large as flour tortillas but they taste way better, are cheaper and a lot healthier!

Mission Yellow Corn Tortilla Thins. 80 calories for 2. Or the "non-thin" variety at 110 for 2.

  • I like low carb tortillas made by La Tortilla Factory. If you live near a Trader Joe's, they carry them. They also have some good whole wheat tortillas. They aren't necessarily low calorie, but they taste good!

LaTortilla Factory, High fiber/low carb...they are awesome and I buy them at Food CIty. Not all store sell them, but maybe check the website to see what stores sell them if you don't have a Food CIty.

I second the Tumaro's Multi Grain. They are low-cal, HIGH fiber, soft, and taste good, too.

We get La Tortilla Factory Low Carb High Fiber Large whole wheat only 80 calories and 3g total fat. They're a staple at our house. We get them at Wal Mart still kind of a princely sum of like $4.80 for an 8 count package. 8 inch. They might be $3.80, my husband has bought them the last couple of times....had one tonight!

These - but I buy them at Sam's Club. Two packages for like $5something. They are a staple in my house. Breakfast burritos, sandwich roll ups, "pizza", even crunchy "dessert" with a little butter spray and sprinkle with just a touch of cinnamon/sugar mix and sliced into wedges.
  • mission artisan ancient grains......so yummy!

Mission has a thin corn that is only 80 cal and 14 net carb for 2 (and super low sodium).
LaTortilla Factory has a few different flavors on their low carb. They are all good. A little chewier I suppose from the whole grains.
LaBanderita has a low carb soft taco that is amazing. So soft and good. Doesn't do well on tortilla rollups the next day as they get soggy. They are 81 cals, 5 net carbs each. If they were lower in sodium I would eat them for every meal. :-)

Mission thin corn tortillas are great! I think they are usually in the cold section at my grocery store. La Tortilla has very low calorie tortillas as well. They are high in fiber and super tasty!
