I have never been a big fan of fruits and vegetables so needless to say, I don't get enough fiber. Any suggestions?

I add flax seeds to my yogurt and protien shakes for additional fiber. Has a slightly nutty taste.0

There are more reasons to eat fruit and veggies than just fiber so you really should try to find some that you like or dishes you can sneak them into.
Whole grains have lots of fiber so that's a good non-fruit and veggie source.0 -
Split pea soup, lentl soup, psyllium mixed with pineapple coconut juice, prunes, apricots, mangoes, bananas, guacamole dip, refried bean burritos, vegan yogurt, whole wheat tortillas. Did any of this help?0

metamucil everyday. Somedays twice. Also Whole grains have more fiber. Whole rolled oats instead of instant oatmeal is a good choice, and only takes a few minutes longer to prepare (Nuke it with water for 2-3 minutes) Of course Brown rice, Brown pasta, all are good.0

I drink about 1000 of my calories each day. I work 8-10hrs and its easier for me to blend oats, protein, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc.
I just grabbed a thing of benefiber and throw some of that in sometimes.
Lifes just easier when you drink things.
I even blend and drink salsa and tuna.0 -
have you tried yam/shiritake noodles? hardly any calories (6 per 100g) and loads of fibre. don't get the 'miracle' ones all the celebs are on - most japanese food websites have the exact same product for a fraction of the price.0

Totally Flax seed! 4 grams per serving!

Flaxseed is a good item to sprinkle in/on everything. We mix it with taco meat, in sauces/soups, on salads, in with pasta, on top of pizzas ... just about anywhere.
Another thing to look at, if you do wraps or fajitas or anything like that are Flatouts and the Ole Xtreme Wellness Low Carb Tortillas. The Flatouts have about 9 grams of fiber in one wrap and just around 90 calories in the light version. The Ole Xtreme Wellness have 12 grams of fiber in one tortilla and only 71 calories. We use these in more than just "wrap mode." We make pizzas with them as well as Mexican lasagna which is really high in fiber because it has refried beans, the Ole Wellness Wraps, and flaxseed mixed in there. If you add any veggies to it as well, you can make it with meat or veggies or both, it can become a serious "cleanser."
The other big thing that we've done is change out our breads. We use the Aunt Millie's Fiber For Life breads which have about 5-6 grams of fiber in two slices and tend to be around 70 calories for two slices of bread.0 -
I mix veggies in stuff. A can of pumpkin in chili gives you fiber and you never even taste it. Other than that I eat low carb tortillas/pitas as those are whole grain with lots of fiber. Just watch the sodium in those they can get high.
Chia seeds are a good one for an added. I used to mix in oatmeal and such when I could have that for breakfast. I guess you can also make a drink that is pretty good but I never tried that.0 -
Thanks everyone! Your suggestions are giving me a lot to think about.0
