I had attented a funeral out of town for the last couple days. Have not eaten badly, but not the same nutrition & exercise as usual. Trying to remember everything I ate & listing it when I got home, showed I didn't really get out of line, but not the same nutrition as usual. Not much movement or activity as you could expect, & hardly no water to speak of.Today I feel terrible!!. I gained a couple of pounds & I'm sitting here trying to get up the energy to get to work & it's tough. I need a word of encouagement b/c when I used to feel like this, I always had a candy bar....or two.....or three, etc., for what I used call "energy?". Back into my regular diet, back to my regular routine, etc. today. Guess this is first experience with feelings of lack of nutrition, exercise, water. Knew I felt better while eating healthy, but didn't know I would feel this bad mif I didn't.

Today is a new day. Start it off as such. Good luck to you and remember that we all have setbacks...that's not the bad thing. The bad thing is to let it continue. Keep your eye on the prize! :flowerforyou:

Hey you've just been to a funeral, you're allowed to be sad and down. Set yourself a couple of really small achievable goals with a nice (non food) reward. Success breeds success and you'll soon be feeling more confident about continuing your journey.

yesterday is the past and today is a new day. do what you know works for you, which is eating healthy and exercising and steer away from those things that seem like an easy fix but actually sabotage your healthy lifestyle plan. We all have rough days but we have to remember that at any point we can choose to refocus. Time to refocus and get back to where you left off. keep at it, good work recognizing you needed encouragement and now you have it. Time to get started...
