Hi all,
as my MFP know, I only train at home - I never been to gym, and I probably never will. I've been able to have great results (maybe at a slower rythm that If I would have been to gym)
Anyway.
Here are the few stuff I've only - which allow me to do many exercices :
A gym carpet :

A jump rope :

A pair of running shoes :

I put them everytime - 1 for the rope (I tried stupidly once without shoes - my toes and I are in divorce proceeding 2, that kinda put me into the mental condition

HRM watch :

Scratch weights :

Drawbar :

And I just bought that : 40 $
Trestle for much more exercices

With this few stuff only, and few imagination (putting my feet on my low-table and hands on the floor for the push-ups for instance), you can do great :)

  • how about investing in some kettlebells?

also the great outdoors can be used for fitness too..

i love the gym too much to work out at home :/

Medicine Balls! You can use those to add a little oomph to crunches, squats, wall-sits, etc. I have the 8 pounder and love it, you might try some of the heavier ones but go for the kind with handles. I think those are just easier to use.

I was going to say jump rope but you beat me to it :)

And who can forget the best exercise equipment of all? A pair of shoes (optional these days) and the open road.

Thank you both, mulmhmm at the moment, I don't feel I need them, but thanks, for people who might be interested :-)

okerachel (what a sweet nick) - great idea.
Of course the running shoes - I put them everytime. Never mess with the sessions

I ran once without shoes. It was a BIG mistake. I had a problem with my left foot for months afterward. Had to wear a support in my shoes. So, Razique, I agree with you - always wear athletic shoes to exercise.

I don't belong to a gym either. I have dumbells, 3, 5, 8 lbs, ankle weights, pedometer, dvds, jump rope, tennis raquet and balls, assorted sports balls, amd my imagination.

i did this work out the other day. i used am 18kg kettle bell for the snatches, a 20kg weight for the swings, and a 16kg KB for the clean & press. it was absolutely killer. and it took me 39 minutes. that guy did it in under 12 minutes.
