Low Cal, Dairy free, Natural Sources of Protein for Snacking

Hi All,

I'm hoping some of you can help me out with some suggestions for upping my protein intake. I do a soy protein shake once a day and don't want to do more than that. I don't do dairy and am not big on meat, though I do eat some here and there. I need to really up my protein and need some snack ideas - no cheese, yogurt, tuna. I'm going to add in some more hard boiled eggs and bring one a day to work. I eat nuts everyday already twice a day and so don't want more fat there. Suggestions?

    I do oatmeal at least once a day every day and don't really have time to cook up turkey or chicken for snacks. (I don't really like deli) But the peas...... I am going to definitely get some at Wholefoods and keep them in my drawer (dried ones) and some more fresh guys to put on my salad. Thanks!
