30 day shred...should you do another workout with it?

i just did my first day of jillian michael's 30 day shred.... i've seen so many people get awesome results from it, so i figured why not?! but i'm curious...did you guys also do another workout along with it everyday? or did you just stick to the dvd for your daily workout and still achieve great results?

    When I did 30-day shred, I didn't do anything else with it, and I got FANTASTIC results. I lost over 11.6 lbs and lost almost 10 inches all over. I really think it is up to you, but you don't need another workout since it is circuit training.

    Congrats, I think it is great all by itself but I also ran 3x a week while doing it but I am training for some upcoming races too.

    I did the shred daily and 6 week 6 pack, also by Jillian, 4-5x per week.

    I combine it with Brazil Butt Lift and time at the gym. I am only on day 10 but so far I am happy with the results.

    What did you think of 6 week 6 pack? I did Ripped in 30 last month and am now working through 30DS with good results. I like to toss other videos in here and there though and right now No More Trouble Zones and Extreme Shed and Shred are my favorites. I have 6 week 6 pack (still in it's wrapper) and I was thinking of doing it next after 30ds but I'm not sure I can do 6 weeks with only 2 levels without being bored to tears. But, if it's worth it I may stick it out. I've seen a lot of improvement on my stomach already (5 inches lost in the past month and a half!) but I'd like to kick it to the next level and get ready for bathing suit season...:)

    I think you can get great results with just doing the dvd but I had amazing results combining it with the C25K program.

    When I did my first round of it I also did the treadmill or elliptical with it for 20-30 mins.

    If you go from nothing to that then I'd say it's a good starting point. If you already work out I'd say add to it. Supplment it with some cardio a few days a week. 20mins isn't very long, but it's a good starting place. I lost 5lbs when I did it and I looked like I'd lost 10. But I went from nothing to that. Pretty good.

    I did the 30 Day Shred with the 6 week 6 pack (love that one), Biggest Loser Cardio Max, and my own circuit training I found on the internet (like the 100 workout). Just to mix things up and work different muscles.
