OH this new "lifestyle" thing is hard sometimes!! Being committed to eliminating all fast food (unless a dire emergency) and making good food choices on a limited calorie budget is harder than I thought it would be. It requires a LOT of planning!

Lately life has been super hectic, and planning has not been one of my strong points - so I find myself just skipping the whole eating thing. Bad, I know. I need to figure out how to set up my day so that while I'm out and about, I can keep my blood sugar even and metabolism going strong. I'm on the move all day long, so this is hard.

I need some suggestions for snacks that TRAVEL well, satisfy, and won't bust my snack calorie budget - any ideas are very appreciated!!

  • I drink slimfast drinks (but am trying to find a protein drink I like) and always carry water bottles in my truck. Also, almonds are a great way to get some protein in. Just divide them up into snack baggies. There are protein bars too. I try to keep fruit and all of these things on hand. You can't keep going without energy!!

    Good luck!
