No potassium in orange juice??

Hi,
Just started using the app on my phone and noticed immediately that my potassium was very low, and on checking my foods found that my orange juice is showing as n/a for potassium? Surely this can't be right? (its tropicana original with juicy bits pure premium).
Has anyone else come across this?
Thanks,
Ben

There is potassium in it, but they aren't required to list it in the nutritional data panel, so sometimes they don't bother.0

Potassium content is not required to be listed in the nutritional information, so a lot of manufacturers leave it off their panel. If it's not on the nutritional data panel, then I'm sure it's not entered into MFP's database. A cup of OJ should have about 450-500mg of potassium.0

That's really disappointing! Makes me wonder how many of my other foods have incomplete information!0

If you found the entry for the OJ on here it could be incorrect. I've found a lot of nutritional information on here wrong, compare it to the label on your product & see if it's entered correctly on here, if not, you can change the information or find another entry for it that is correct. One time I was searching general chicken on here & whomever had submitted the nutritional information for it had only entered the calories, no fat, sodium, carb, etc...I was wondering how my fat & sodium were so low for the day, lol.0

My hubby is a fruit juice freak. I just looked at his orange, peach, and cranberry. No potassium in the orange or peach but quite a bit in the cranberry, also cranberry in any form is very good for you in other ways. I have to watch my potassium, sugars, and magnesium very closely because I have kidney disease. Bananas and potatoes can boost potassium very quickly.:0

Can I change the entry within the app then? This value did come from the mfp database...0
