Here is my story sorry its a little long,
When I first noticed that I was really really overweight was when I was looking for a wedding dress, I had once dreamed of a beautiful wedding and of course me the bride as beautiful as can be, well that did not happen that way. I was really upset at myself that I let my weight get out of control, I did get married to a wonderful man but for the first year I barely looked at our wedding pictures and to date still have not seen our wedding video. A few months later I decided that I needed to take control of my eating disorder. Ever since I was a child the only thing my parents ever told me I was good at was eating, I always got "shes such a good eater", and so I always cleaned everything off my plate to make them happy but its really not their fault they didn't realize that would be the start to a eating disorder. When I first started this journey I did tons of research on weight loss, I didn't want to yo-yo diet like all my friends and family have done in the past, if I was going to do this I was going to do it right the first time. Of course no one believed I could stick to it, even my husband said "Yeah right talk to me when you lose ten pounds", yes that hurt but it motivated me even more to prove to him and everyone else that I can do this! That's when I started to look for a app on my smartphone and I found MFP, this app saved my life!! I never realized how many calories a day I was consuming it didn't seem like much when it was on my plate and when I was eating it but when you see it in numbers it really opens your eyes. I remember getting doors slammed in my face from all types of people before weight loss, I am still the same person I was when I was larger now it seems like everyone holds the doors for me, everyone offers me something and anyone will just start talking to me like I have known them forever and they are just strangers. I am the same person just healthier, stronger and smaller that's what I want to say to some of these people who used to talk behind my back, who used to snicker at me when I walked bye, now they want to congratulate me and make plans with me and tell me how pretty I am. But I am too nice of a person so I just let it all go, but I know that they are not real friends. So here I am not at my goal weight yet I still have another 80 pounds to go but I am healthy and happier than I have ever been in my whole life and I owe it all to you guys for the encouragement in the forums and to MFP for making this wonderful website!!! Thank You!

So happy for you! You have come so far, way past half way and way past that "10 lbs" your hubby said. The rest of your goal will happen because you are such a strong, amazing woman. I can only imagine the guts and bust *kitten* work it took for you to make the changes all on your own! Great share!0

You look amazing! All your hard work and dedication is definately showing. I have no doubts you will reach all your goals with such a positive attitude! I was also really impressed by your statement about the people who treated you so badly when you were heavier, and now want to be your friend. How you are able to just let it go and not hold on to those hurts, or negativity. You are such a strong woman, who obviously has a kind, loving heart. Awesome job! I am always looking for motivated, positive friends, so friend me if you like.0

Congratulations. I think you look beautiful in your wedding picture. And it breaks my heart that you haven't seen your wedding video. I think that every couple should do that on their first wedding anniversary Just think, you took the steps to make changes in your life. It should be an inspiration to watch the video and say, hey... I don't look like that anymore- I look SO MUCH better! You are beautiful. 101 pounds in 18 months is absolutely amazing.0
