Has anyone tried juicing as a supplement to your diet? I just watched and am totally psyched about the documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead!! I got my juicer over the weekend and tried different variations of fruit and veggies. I want to drink the juice as one of meals, but not sure what ingredients to use. Any suggestions?

I love my green lemonade. It's one head of romaine, about 3 handfuls of some other green(spinach, kale, etc), 2 small apples, and a lemon, peel and all. I got a big box of Meyer lemons from Costco and I have been enjoying them! I love that movie!

I absolutely LOVE juicing! When motivated, I supplement my breakfast for juice. Typically have 1 16oz around 8:00 then another round 11:00. My favorite these days is:
    1/2 large head of kale
    1/2 grapefruit
    1 apple
1/2 package baby carrots or 3 regular carrots

Often times I just juice up whatever I have in the fridge and most combos taste pretty darn good.

I do feel sustained by the juice but then eat a protein rich lunch since I workout in the afternoon and want to nourish my muscles.

Good luck and feel free to ask any questions, I will try to answer :)
