I am in the need for some great tasting and healthy (low cal prefered) desserts. I can live without desserts but my family can't. thanks!

    My faves are:

    Greek yogurt with fruit
Sauteed sliced, peeled and cored apples - just like apple pie minus the crust! (Peel, core and slice apples, drop in a pan with a dab of butter, sprinkle with a bit of brown sugar and a dusting of cinnamon. SUPER tasty!)
    Frozen Yogurt
    Fruit salad of any sort

    frozen peanut butter treats

take a full tun of sugar free light cool whip (defrosted)
    3/4 cup of light peanutbutter

mix the two together... seperate into paper lined muffin trays (should make 12 deserts)

drizzle 1 tsp of Sugar free ice cream topping on each

put in freezer... when I made them, I used regular peanut butter and EACH cup was 96 calories....

Angel food cake is fat free ..... Add ons:
    1. Shortcake: berries & low fat cool whip
    2. Trifle: layer cake cubes with sugar free pudding, and sliced fruit
    3. "Chocolate Angel Food" Add a tablespoon (or 2) of cocoa to your cake mix. Top with chocolate syrup if desired.
    4. Fold blueberries & lemon zest into batter. Serve with lemon yogurt.

"Baked" apples - core an apple, add a pat of butter, 1-2 teaspoons brown sugar, sprinkle of cinnamon. Microwave for a couple of minutes. "Score" the skin with a knife before microwaving (if skin is too tough) - will help the kids especially.

Fruit topped with vanilla yogurt in yummy. Add a sprinkle of toasted almonds.
