I was wondering is it normal to lose inches and then regain inches but still losing weight? Could it be building muscle?

You might be slightly bloated, or holding some water weight. I occasionally feel like I have extra inches when I'm really hydrated.0

I'd say bloating unless it's somewhere that the increased muscle size is really going to show (like my biceps which got bigger at first). I measure on the day of the week when I feel smallest. It makes me happier.0
