How do you log the 30 DS on MFP? And......I couldn't finish the first day, today, my second day.....I finished but had to take a couple 10 second brakes. Will I EVER be able to get thru it without stopping?

I log it as circuit training, but I've got HRM coming this week and will use that from now on. and YES it does get easier, just stick with it!! I'm about to finish level 1 tomorrow morning

It gets easier and I wear a heart rate monitor and added it to my exercizes myself.

That's how I logged it for the last 2 days.......please let me know when you get your HRM and if its close at all so I have an idea. Thanks for responding!
  • I just log it in as circuit training. And yes, one day you'll be able to get through an exercise without stopping! You just need to build up your strength more. Don't worry. A seed isn't going to grow into a tree over night, right? Just keep working on the moves, trust me, you'll start seeing improvement eventually.

I have a HRM and I made my own exercise and logged it as "Jillian Michaels- 30 Day Shred" when I did it.

I have a HRM and MFP underestimated calories burned but lots of people have said it overestimates it. It really is a very subjective thing, depends on how hard you work, how high you jump, deep you go on lunges. Just know MFP is just an estimate. Log it as Circuit Training.

Yes, I think I'm going to have to get a HRM soon.......can anyone tell me what the best one would be to get, that is rather inexpensive?

I have been looking at heart rate monitors as well. I think I am going to go with the ft4. It is very basic, but all I really want to know is calories burned, it is also one of the least expensive that I have found with good reviews.
