Try increasing your protien after a workout, and adding more potassium to your diet. And keep stretching and hydrating!

Potassium is definitely a good idea.

Charlie horses are caused by a lack of potassium (or so I heard) so eat a banana!

I take potassium supplements and it really helps with muscle cramping.

Ooh, I agree with the potassium, but I'd add to take it with a glass of milk, full fat or 2% if you have the calories for it. The calcium in the milk will make the potassium act better (some reaction between the two, but it's why a good quality potassium supplement will also have calcium in it) and the fat...I don't know, that's honestly my own superstition, and not based on any medical fact that I'm aware of.

Yup I would say potassium also. Not everyone can eat raw potatoes, but they have a ton of potassium too. Orange juice, sweet potatoes and yogurt all have more potassium than a banana as well.

Thanks. I will definitely look at finding a good potassium supplement and I love sweet potatoes and bananas. Thank you again so much.
