Do you do cardio the same day as heavy leg strength workouts

When you go heavy on legs, do you do cardio afterwards? I read online it's probably not a good idea, but I wanted to see what you guys think/do.

  • Yup
but I usually just do treadmill, light walk.

On the days that I don't do legs, I willl do the stepper or intense eliptical.

I do a little light cardio to warm up (mile jog) and then cool down with 5-10 minutes on the recumbent bike. If I do my leg training right then I'm way too wobbly for full out cardio.

Nope....I can barely walk to the car after a good leg workout.

agree, when weights are done correctly you should not be able to or want to do cardio

I'm way more tired on weight days
