hi

ive been a member of mfp for about 6 wks and was chugging along nicely and doing really well, i was 182lbs wen i first started and at present i have lost 8lbs in all and was feeling really pleased with myself.
a few times now i have been in my goals and changed my exercise goals accordingly but each time ive done this and updated it mfp have dropped my calories intake, i was on 1320 to start with and i am now on 1280.

the thing is i dont know if this is coincidence or not but i have been getting a lot of headaches and feeling hungry more, should i up my calorie intake back to wat it was and if so can anyone tell me how i do it, thankyou xx

  • I always run on 1400 and burn 700, 3 times a week I find if I go less than this i turn into a right moody b*tch

Eat what your body needs and exercise more  x
  • Hi, can you clarify - you changed your *exercise* goals, or your *weight loss* goals (the question "What is your goal?")?

Anyway, if you are getting headaches, it could be the type of exercise perhaps. Tight muscles across your upper back and/or shoulders will give you a headache - you know how your muscles hurt more the second day than the day after? Well thats coz they are tighter - so that could be happening to your neck/shouldrs/back, and giving you headaches without you being aware of the link.

    hiya

i changed my exercise goals because i was doin more time on my cross trainer, im only doin cardio exercise at the moment
  • I tried changing my exercise goals (I'm starting to exercise more often as I am fiiiiiinally starting to enjoy it) and my calories goal for the day stayed the same. Weird?

But, I can tell you this - you need to do some weight training or resistance training as well as cardio - you need to build and tone muscle, as it's muscle that burns fat. It doesn't take much, coz muscle is really efficient, but it will really make the cardio workout mean so much more.
