what to do with a can of tuna

any good ideas on what to do with a can of albacore tuna that does NOT contain mayo???? I do not like mayo any way, shape, or form. I would like to use this can up tomorrow for lunch. Any ideas????

    I just eat my right out of the can on some wheat thins. Of course if you do this, prepare for your co-workers to walk by and say "meow" like you are a cat. :laugh: cause that is what mine do.

    I add a few green olives, pickles, boiled egg whites, and a little vinaigrette (balsamic vinegar/ olive oil or even Italian dressing) instead of mayo. I HATE mayo. I also like to add a can of rinsed chickpeas.

    I used to use ranch dressing but most of them have MSG so I gave it up (migraine trigger).

    In fact, I just made it this week, it's my 10 yo's new favorite sandwich!

    I usually just mixed it with balsamic vinegar too. Sounds weird, but reeeallly good...especially on crackers!

    you can mix it with plain yogurt, will have s very similar consistancy to mayo, with out the mayo

    Oh I made the yummiest tuna the other day.

    I used my food processor but chopping by hand is good too

    tuna lightly drained
    2 tablespoons EVOO
    2 tbls lemon juice
    parsly
    cilantro (pinch dried)
    salt and pepper
    onion
    2 calamata olives

    I processed the tuna, added the evoo and juice, then the rest. It was moist and yummy on whole wheat crackers........but could have been on a salad bed or a ww pita

    Cut up some celery and onion, mix that and two Tablespoons of Italian dressing--low fat or fat free works great. Mix it with the tuna and have a sandwich with cheese or without--I've done it on a pita and bread. Soo Yummy!!

    mix the tuna with fat free yogurt and relish as per your preferences. Especially good for lunch on whole wheat bread.

    ok. I know this is really weird but I like mine with ketchup and relish. It's tasty but it is kind of high in sugar an sodium.

    Lettuce, tomato, onion, other veggies if you like, and a vinaigrette dressing with lemon juice instead of vinegar. I often eat that for lunch. Of course I've got to give the cats their share of tuna before "ruining" it with the other ingredients :smile:

    I just had some yesterday for lunch and I added: chopped plum tomatoes, a bit of onion and lime juice. It was delish. Put it over your crackers of choice and enjoy :tongue:

    i usually eat it right out of the can with a fork, i know other people that have mixed it with mustard instead of mayo, not sure how it tates though.
