Someone mentioned CLA helps to target tummy fat and that it was a supplement like taking vitamins rather than a diet pill. They mentioned other benefits which I've forgotten and I was wondering if anyone knew more about it and where I can get it in UK?
I've been losing weight healthily since last June, I'm down to my last 5lbs but haven't lost as much off tummy as I'd like, but don't want to overdo the cardio and lose too much more off top as my neck and face is much thinner and can see my collarbones and ribs (outlines) under skin. I'm trying post pregnancy workouts that focus on tightening the tummy area and wondered if CLA would help if it really does target tummy fat?

No, CLA has not been shown to target belly fat and in fact the studies are decidedly mixed at it's effectiveness for weight loss
Studies showing little or no effect of CLA supplementation

^Yep this is great stuff. Don't know really anything about this cla stuff. However, I would be very skeptical of any product that claims it”targets” one form of fat over the others. Spot reduction is generally impossible.0

It doesn't target belly fat, it's supposed to help lose fat everywhere. I had it along with a bunch of other vitamins, like green tea extract in a work out plan I did last year, not sure which part of the plan targeted the belly fat and other fat but I lost 13lbs and kept it off even after doing it0

oh rite.. well I lost 13" off tummy and 7 " off waist in beginning but not lost anymore inches for months even though I'm still exercising at least 5 times a week, every day when I can and still losing weight.
I was 2 stone over top end of my healthy weight for my height... got down to 9st 12 .. 5lbs off hitting 3 st lost... my tummy is still my biggest area in proportion to the rest of my body. (waist now 31" , around tummy 35 ") and I'm in a size 14, if could get tummy to shrink bit more I prob make a 12 or 12/14... boobs size shrunk too from a 40 to a 36, so thought tummy would be flatter by time I started hitting the 9st range.
I'm wondering if my body is reaching its 'set point' and doesn't want to go any smaller? 9st 7 would be right in middle of healthy weight for my height and medium frame. I was always around this weight when I was younger before I got thyroid complications and mobility problems. Wii Fit says I should be 9st 3. (I'm 5ft 3 and half), though I've never been so skinny you could see my ribs and think that might be a bit too low for me personally?
I'm 42 and just hitting peri-menopause so any supplements that might help boost my metabolism and stop all weight going back on would be a great help?0
