Getting a bigger butt?

                    I am looking for exercises that will give me a bigger but, but not bigger quads. Since i have ben taking body pump and squatting and lunging more I have noticed that only my thighs are getting bigger. Big bulgy lumpy gross muscles in the front but no change to my but. What can i do?

            Deadlifts, king squats ( bulgarian splits), doggy kicks and fire hydrants has helped me alot.0

            HEAVY stiff legged deadlifts, squats, sumo squats, step-ups, walking lunges....
 The only way to build a rounder, bigger butt is to lift heavy. Of course your quads are going to get bigger...after you drop more fat, they will lean out.0

            In order to physical increase the size of your butt you either need to gain fat or muscle, which requires a calorie surplus (so no, I dout your thighs have actually gotten bigger with the possible exception of temporary water retention or swelling).
 What you probably want to do is decrease overall body fat while maintaining muscle. This is done with heavy strength training (thi includes deep squats and deadlifts done with an increasing amount of weight, both of which work your butt muscles) and a moderate calorie deficit.0

            Greetings! Please read info. on butt and there is also another article on the anatomy of the legs and thighs. I thought is was interesting material and exactly what I need. The doctor to do steps, and/or ergo stair-master for a great buttocks! I have plenty but needs more shape.:blushing: :blushing: :blushing:

            Well perhaps my muscles haven't gotten bigger. Maybe I have just lost far in my thighs and the muscles are starting to bulge through. But there is definite bulging. I will definetly look into higher weights.0

            Squats should work your glutes (butt) if done correctly. Many people compensate for weak glutes by using too much of their quads. Check out your form. Even if you don't want to lift heavy, try looking on youtube for a video series called "so you think you can squat"0
