What's the been the most embarrassing moment in your whole life?

Mine was when I was called as a witness in a court case, as a not so religious person I had to do the Affidavit thing instead of swearing on the bible. As I clearly watch too much television, I held the paper it was on and lifted up my other hand in an 'I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth...' type of fashion. I noticed the jurors smiling, but thought nothing of it. It wasn't until I was on the train home that I realised what I had done and still cringe every time I think about it :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed:

Can anyone beat that? I hope so!!!

I have a story about my wife. A few years ago we were walking around in Epcot at Disneyworld. It had just rained, and the ground was wet. As we walked along, she passed a guy whose shoes were squeaking on the wet pavement, so she said "Awfully noisy there, aren't you?" He said "Yes, it's my artificial leg". She looked down, and he did, indeed have a fake leg. He chuckled about it, but she went red with embarrassment. We still love that story.

My wedding, all of it. The whole damn day.

I hate being the centre of attention. We wanted a very small intimate wedding, with only close family & a few very close friends. Then the MIL got her hands on the planning. They are Salvation Army. She invited the whole bloody lot of them. Hundreds or what felt like it. What should have been the happiest day of my life was one long embarrasment from start to finish.
22 Years later I'm still seathing.
But we've lasted 22 years together so thats something. And I avoid the out-laws as much as I can.
