Just bought a sx heart rate watch from Walmart!

Now the thing is I can't figure out how it works! :blushing:
I am not a dumb person by any means however this is confusing to me.

Can anyone tell me if it keeps up with the calories I have burnt during my workout?
If so how do I check.
I have read the manual but its not very clear on how.


Ughhhhhhhh, help me please!

    I was looking at these last weekend, which model did you get? I have a sportsline touch HRM that has a "calorie counter", but I believe it only calculates off your last heart rate measurement, not very accurate when your heart rate changes a lot during a work out.

    I want to get another HRM as the one I have now is one of the touch ones that only tells you your heart rate when you touch it. Not very easy to do when you're active. In other words, I definitely believe the ones with the chest band are better as they keep constant track of your heart hate.

    the watch is sucky... you have to constantly hit the button to get your HR and it stops the time.. I had one and took it back, went to Target and got the New Balance N4 with chest strap for $64.99 and I love it
