Ok so I hope no one thinks I sound like a bitter ex wife because I am very happliy remarried and in general only wish the best for my ex. BUT......

So this last week end my husband and I took a trip up to stone mnt. GA. we had a great time and since we were close to were my ex lives now we offered to let him see the kids. He said he would love to and asked if he could bring his girlfriend. I said yes and was actually happy that he found someone.

OK when we got to the resturant they walked up to the car and my jaw dropped! His girlfiend is younger than me and fairly heavy. Here is why this was so shocking. First he is 11 years older than me. He is 40, and his new girl is 22....OUCH! :grumble: Next he spent our entire marriage telling me how fat and ugly I was. (so why is it ok for this girl???) My sweet Aaron turned and laughed and said well it looks like he traded you in for a newer model..lol.

I know its silly but I am using this! I am glad that he is happy but I swear I have new motivation to loose the weight! I am determined to be down to my pre baby weight and to look good!!! Not only for me but for my sweet Aaron who loves me no matter what I look like. I know I will never be a trophy wife but I think that if I can reach my goal I can at least look like some fairly nice arm candy...lol.

Thanks for listening to my rant and my new reason for loosing!

:noway: now that's messed up (about your ex calling you fat when you were with him)

What is sad is I found pictures of me before I had the kids and although I have never been skinny I was not fat! I have spent the last ten years of my life thinking I have been horribly fat. Although I have been after having the kids and now am working to loose weight I am going to have to work hard once I reach my goal to realize that I have made it. I think I will know that I have made it when I reach my goal and make my husbands jaw drop! That will be a great feeling.
