ok, so I love lentils! I don't eat much meat so I get a lot of my protein from them. Problem is, I am on a 1300 calorie diet and they took up more than half of my allowance.
Maybe I am doing something wrong?
Here is my question, I am usi g Suraj Lentils. On the package it says:
1/2 cup equals 350 calories.
Does that refer to a measure of dry lentils? Therefore if I put half a cup of lentils in my stew and cook it then the calorie cou t would be 350 calories.
Or from cooked lentils do I measure half a cup?
Trust me any halp would be appreciated, I just love lentils. Stew, soup, anything!
