HELP!

I have been doing well with MFP for over 50 days. I have lost 19 pounds, but saw a 3 pound weight gain this week! I did not log for Saturday night and Sunday of last weekend as we were on vacation with the kids. I thought I did pretty well though even managing to exercise while we were gone. I tried Zumba for the first time Tuesday of this week and LOVED it! I even went back again Friday night. I am freaking out about the 3lb gain though! I can feel myself questioning the whole diet thing. I do this every time I diet! I really want to be able to get back on track and not quit this time!

Don't give up...you are doing amazing!!! I certainly can understand how frustrating and discouraging this can be...you are still DOWN 16 pounds!!! You have been eating well and excising unfortunately our bodies do not always react the way and as fast as we would like them too...I won't let you give up, we are in this together!! Call me and we will set a time to go for a walk tomorrow. Remember...16 pounds less...way to go!!!0

I'm not a health professional so don't sue me blah blah blah... That said, my advice, having looked over your food diary the last wish weeks would be:
Eat more vegetables.
Eat less carbs.
If I were you I'd try to keep the carbs between 75-100g / day for a week or two. That should help you break the plateau.
Other than that, your meals look pretty good, and I see you exercise regularly. Just stick with it and don't give up and things will shift.0 -
Karin-TY! I know I cannot give up and 16lbs is a great loss. Just VERY frustrated today.

I agree with Karin. 16 LBS. is still down and you are heading in the right direction. Don't give up..it is so easy to throw in the towel. Keep up the good work and keep encouraging each other.....We all stray off once in a while, but tomorrow is another day.0
