I live in Virginia, and we have well water. As far as taste it is incredible. So fresh tasting and nothing has compared to it....The mineral are hard on the hair though!

^^^This...We live in Alabama, and are on a well and use a Brita pitcher, though the water out of the tap tastes just fine..to me.(DH and son like it filtered...). Have to watch for lime buildup in washer, dishwasher, shower, toilet..but I've had well water for so long now, city water tastes nasty!

I've got the brita filter on my sink, it has saved me SOOOO much money! and my animals love it, Floride is very dangerous for them =(

I refuse to drink tap water cause of the floride

Brita filters (or any charcoal filter for that matter) does not remove flouride.

Filtered when I'm at my parent's house for the weekend (the best!), and I settle for tap at my apartment at school

Bottled water here...I drink Safeways Refreshe brand. We have well water and it's as hard as rocks. We do have a water softner, but it's still tastes bad....

I am a filtered girl through and through! I think bottles are a waste, and tap varies so much from one location to the next. Filtered is tasty, somewhat consistent, and environmentally friendly.

At home I drink either from the tap or from the brita pitcher (which hasn't had a filter change in too long..). At work I refill a bottle with fountain water all the time. As long as the water is cold, it's delicious to me.

Tap. It tastes good and my city has really good water quality apparently, scores 100% on whatever testing they do. I find it annoying when people constantly buy bottled water instead of filters, if they must - it's so bad for the environment :(

I'm with you why pay for it when a lot of the bottled water is just tap water anyway.

I have thought about testing my tap. I wonder how much that costs?

No sense in testing city tap water--the city has to get it tested. They should be able to give you a copy of the analysis if you ask. If you live in a rural area with a private well, then you need to get it tested. But your profile says you live in Houston.

Only bottled Spring Water for me. I live in SW FL & I'm on a well. Tastes like crap & City water is nasty too.

Best tap water I've had is from Bend. Oregon!

Then you haven't been to Dubuque, IA. Been rated the best tasting water in the country for years!
  • I drink tap or filtered at home, because bottled water is less regulated and plastics aren't the greatest for the planet or our bodies.

filtered into a portable reusable container.

Our water is heavily chlorinated usually.

    Distilled water at home.

Tap water from fountain in the gym.

I try to avoid tap water as it has estrogen in it( from birth control pills ) since filtration process doesnt filter it out.

I wish we'd get DE FLUORINATED tap in the United States.

There's no reason NO REASON for fluoride to be in tap water.

Fluoride does absolutely nothing when ingested.

Bottled. I really REALLY want a filter for the house but between bills and other junk I can never fit one into the budget. I hate drinking water at restaurants because it's tap and the water in this city tastes slightly like chlorine. Though it's better than the tap I had in a Mississippi city once. No joke, that water tasted like car tires had been soaking in it. Tasted like pure liquid rubber.

Reverse osmosis is the only way to remove floride.

Tap, but if you're willing to go to the trouble of collecting it, rainwater is the best.

When I lived in Colorado, tap water was all I drank.

I live in Arizona now and work in various locations all over town, often outside. So, I can't be too picky. But, tap water here doesn't taste great so, my preference is filtered!!! I don't really believe in bottled water due to the waste and because it generally just overpriced filtered water.

I start the day with two 16 ounce water bottles (Contigo insulated stainless steel - LOVE THEM) filled with water and 3 ice cubes. I refill them several times a day. Luckily, I've managed to identify a few decent gas stations where the nozzles on the soda fountain are always clean. VOILA - filtered water.

At the gym, I refill them at the water fountain. I'm not sure if it is filtered but it tastes better than normal Arizona tap water, so I assume they do something.

Distilled or purified, purchased by the gallons. Smartwater when it goes on sale.

Tap and bottled. Just depends. If I need a glass for vitamins or medication, then tap. If I'm drinking for daily intake or mixing for protein shake, then bottled.
