I went to my hair stylist to get my hair done i didn't say anything to her about losing weight. I sat there and asked her if she remembered where my bumps are located on my head(sweat glands forming inside my scalp). she said"most definately", she asked me why I was asking her. I just told her to proceed and let me know if there is anything new. with a shocked face she looked at me and said " Nellie for some reason they feel very small almost not even there anymore" what happened?? I told her how I was changing the way I think(new mind set) eat and alot of water. she was so happy, she said" I saw you have lost weight but didn't want to say anything as some people are touchy about there weight but you look great. "

then I go out with my daughter to a friends house they havent' seen me in about 5 to 6 months, as soon as I go in one of the lady's say" girl you are looking awesome, i'm sorry but last time you were here you looked terrible i'm sorry to say it like that, but were you sick back then? I was afraid to ask. she said I look great and she is happy i'm feeling good. the man of the house, a good friend of mine, never flirted with me at all. was flirting with me and looking at me through the night(it was nice, but no thank you, if at my worst you wasn't there. I will not let you in, at my success time.(door closed lol)

then another person i know she comes in and she kisses me and hugs me introduces me to her mother this way" Mommy this is Nellie do you remember her? She was huge very big and couldn't even move well and look at her now, always dancing on the dance floor and she has lost alot of weight, she looks great!" mind you she never even looked at me and told me Nellie you look good. lol.

wow I didn't even realize not that it mattered at the time, but how people saw me in their eyes. so i was huge and very big. glad I'm pleasing to the eyes now lol lol. so this morning i'm singing "boy look at my body, boy look at my body. I workoutttttt" lol.

You are doing well, and are such an inspiration to others! Not only are you exercising successfully, but you have changed your diet and now eat so many healthy fresh fruits and veggies (you even got me to start eating chia seeds every day, which by the way I love!!) First of all--CONGRATULATIONS! You are doing SO well. I am really happy to see your take on these people's reactions. I am sure they meant well, but personally I think some of their reactions were misguided. I mean, that's beside the point, and as I said, I am SO glad you took it with a grain of salt, flipped it around and realized it for what it was--an NSV. You rock.
