I would go to a running store that specializes in running shoes. Here we have Boulder Running Company and Runners Roost. They test your feel in the shoes you try on. I prefer the Lunar Glides. They just seem to have that nice cushion to help take preasure off my knees and feet. Those and Brooks are good too I hear. But everyone runs differant. So go to a place that analyzes your Run on a treadmill. They have a monitor with a camera that watches your running pattern and analyzes where you need the most support and which shoe will best suit you.

I love my lunars. It did take me trying on about 16 pairs of shoes though to find the right ones. go to a running store and try everything on.

I have tried on the Nike frees before and they seemed cheaply made to me... i didn't like them at all.... i got Asics gel shoes... they feel great. Have never tried lunar so i can't give my opinion on those. But i agree you should go to a running store and get properly fit, there are so many different shoes for different types of feet.
