I have given up Ice cream and all desserts due to my weakness's. Has any of you gave up your weakness's?

fried food, ugh. I just try to make sure I don't overconsume when i eat unhealthy food, that way I can enjoy it, but still make progress0

bread..chocolate...sweets all together if i am being really good,....BUT I am human.0

french fries. i also try not to eat candy and i've been good at it so far.0

Two days into Lent, I decided to give up cookies. Hey, I'm not Catholic, but my husband is. He gave up candy. Now we're having a competition. I have to say I have one leg up due to MFP. Yay me!0

My weakness is my portion sizes. I gave up 2nds since starting this website.0

I pretty much eat what I want within reason using moderation. The weight loss journey shouldn't be about deprivation. I try to make healthy choices most of the time, but if I REALLY want one of my favorite, less healthier foods, then I count it and eat it. Usually on those days, I make sure I burn a few extra calories, and I always, always make sure I never go over my daily calorie goals. Obviously, sugary sweets and fried foods should not be a part of our daily meals just because it truly is unhealthy to overindulge in these types of foods. But for me personally, if I knew I had to give up my favorite foods forever… I'd be depressed!0

Buy a small bag of cooking chocolate chips, the 60% dark chocolate ones!

I gave up the ice cream and desserts when I started to loose the weight a few months ago. The temptation is barely even there for ice cream.0
