Can anyone formulate a 1 hour high intensity cardio workout

Im looking at doing a low impact high intensity 1 hour workout 6 days a week that doesnt involve weights or muscle toning and is effective. Ill just add that running isnt an option atm. Does anyone have any ideas? Atm the only thing i can think of is riding on the bike (which makes my butt sore!) or combining a 45 minute and 15 minute zumba work out. Only problem with the latter is that i wwould have to have a long break inbetween changing over.

Aerobics maybe? Calisthenics? Treadmill but turn the incline right up to 10%?0

As an avid bike rider, your tush will stop getting sore the more you do. If you are on a trainer at home, look into getting a larger seat. If you really want to burn ( but this will take lots of work) on the stationary bike at home do spinning. This way you aren't sitting as much. But be prepared it's work, but well worth it!
My best to you!

Effective at what exactly?
At burning calories.
Thanks to all. I may give the bike another go. i suppose i can just jump right onto the bike after a zumba workout.0 -
I like to do Treadmill inclined to atleast 10 walking at 4.1 miles per hour or maybe the ellipitical. May be worth a try. Good Luck,0

I would suggest spinning classes if you have access. Based on my heart rate monitor, that's the highest-intensity, lowest-impact cardio workout that I do and most classes are 60 minutes.0

Insanity phase II workouts. Definitely high impact, a lot of body weight use (in push-ups, moving push-ups, ski-abs, etc.) The phase II workouts are an hour long.0

What about advanced yoga?0

Also, I agree with those who suggest Spinning. I do 4 hours of it a week and love it.0

90 Day Supreme has a great cardio and Tabata work out. They are 30 mins each so you could do them back to back. The Dvd set only sold for $19.99 and I got it on sale for $9.99 in the "as seen on TV" spot in a store.0
